You've always been in our lives, and thus, the entwine of our blended families. Decades of laughs, experiences and time spent together invade my mind and fill my heart. Your charismatic spirit was contagious!
You and Mommie were the first Thelma and Louise! From your bond, I learned first hand that mere biology doesn't matter; you were sisters and maintained that intimate relationship until she left us. On the day we laid her to rest, you sat right by my side, holding my hand.
You remained in my life (and the lives of my children). I cherished our visits and talks. It seems unfathomable that I won't see that beautiful face or hear that wonderful, melodic voice again. For your presence, wisdom, humor and love, I'm forever grateful.
Johnny, Darryl and Jimmy, know that you and your families are in my continuous thoughts and prayers. I love you all dearly.
