Barry L. Hall's Obituary
Mr. Barry L. Hall, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at his home in Fruitport, surrounded by his family. Barry was born in Baldwin, Michigan on November 9, 1944 to Frank and Evelyn (Oswald) Hall and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon/ Grand Haven area. He had proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. On November 7, 1970 he married the former Carol Drake. Barry enjoyed a wide variety of things through the years and if he couldn’t fix something, it was broke. He was a member of VFW #3195 and was a former member of Muskegon Shoreline Barbershop Chorus and also Great Lakes Chorus. Barry was an avid carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, Silver Lake, camping, snowmobiling, singing and golf but nothing was more precious than spending time with his family, and even more so, his grandchildren. SURVIVORS include his loving wife, Carol, of 47 years; children, Andrew Hall and Timothy (Andrea) Hall; grandchildren, Oliver and Thea; and sister, Cynthia (Mark) Olger. Barry is also survived by 3 special nieces, Jamie, Carrie and Tracie. He was preceded in death by his parents and also by his brother, Bruce. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231)798-1100. VISITATION will be held from 5-7PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
