Mr. Bazil L. Elliott's Obituary
Mr. Bazil L. Elliott, 86, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He was born December 20, 1929 to Wilford and Alida (Van) Elliott in Muskegon, and lived most of his life here. Mr. Elliott worked for Consumers Power for 43 years before retiring, was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Holton United Methodist Church. On June 3, 1950 he married Phyllis J. Pulsipher, and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2002. Survivors include 3 children, James (Barb) Elliott, Sandi (William) Anderson, Richard Elliott, all of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 half-brothers, Keith (Mary) Tyler of Grand Rapids, Steve Tyler of Brethren; and a special friend, Shirley Schnick of Fremont. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 29, at 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Rd. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
