Beatrice "Bea" L. Shaw's Obituary
Beatrice “Bea” L. Shaw, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 6, 1948 to Henry and Eliza (Kahalau) Kanahele in Niihau, Hawaii. On June 23, 1976 she married the love of her life, Alfred S. Shaw and he survives her along with her son, Clarence L. Shaw; grandchildren, Donnanice, Kiana and Charlotte Shaw; brothers, Henry Kanahele, Joseph Kanahele and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Kanahele; sisters, Helen Kanahele and Eliza Niau. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Bea will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave. (231-726-5210) at 11:00 AM with visitation an hour prior to the services. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. For a more lasting memory, donations in Bea’s name can be made to either The Human Society or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
