Beatrice B. Erickson's Obituary
Mrs. Beatrice B. Erickson, age 89, died Tuesday evening, August 1, 2006. She was born June 6, 1917 in Rexton, MI to Wilfred and Bessie (Maddix) Nelson, and had resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Mrs. Erickson worked as the head cook at the T.B. Sanitarium for 15 years. Her first husband, Charles Rose, preceded her in death in 1965. She then married Harry Erickson, and he also preceded her in death in 1972. SURVIVORS include her son, Wilfred (Margaret) Rose of North Muskegon; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Georgia (Scott) Potter of Twin Lake; and her sister, Helen Shook of Hillman, MI. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Williams on March 31 of this year; son, Duane Lynn Rose in 1979; 2 grandsons, Jeff Rose and David Williams; and by 3 sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Blue Lake Community Church (10981 Blue Lake Rd., Holton, MI) with Pastor Kevin Pycraft officiating.
