Beatrice "Connie" Macy's Obituary
Mrs. Beatrice C. “Connie” Macy, age 81, passed away Thursday evening, September 17, 2009 at her home. She was born October 24, 1927 to Francis J.D. and Marguerite (Bills) Rose in Muskegon, and lived all of her life here. She had worked at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility for several years, the Muskegon County Building, and was affiliated with First Wesleyan Church. She married Floyd R. Macy on June 21, 1947; he preceded her in death on July 25, 1998. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Barbara Macy of Muskegon, Dale (Pam) Macy of Whitehall, Roger Macy of Muskegon; 1 daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Macy of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; Gina (Jose’), Michelle (Brian), Becca, Hunter, Thomas (Colleen), Jeffrey (Jennifer), and Gregory; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary (Kathy) Rose of Muskegon, Jack Rose of TN; 2 sisters, Noel (Joseph) Young of TN, Sharon Wingert of IA. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Thomas Macy in 2007; 3 brothers, Durwood, Jerry, and Clyde Rose. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday at
