Belmont B. "Dino" DeMartino's Obituary
Belmont “Dino” DeMartino, age 76, died at home in Muskegon township on Sunday, August 21, 2022, after a long Illness. He was born on August 17, 1946, to Belmont and Ethel (Tillman) DeMartino in Biloxi, MS. On June 23, 1989, he married the love of his life, Vivian Williams in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 33 years full of love and laughter.
Dino was a proud veteran serving his country in the U.S. Navy from February 1965 until February 1969, earning the Vietnam service medal with a bronze star. Prior to retirement, he worked as a carpenter for many years at Tridonn Construction Company. In his earlier years, Dino was an avid golfer enjoying his time out on the greens. Above all things, Dino enjoyed traveling with Vivian, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dino is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vivian (Williams) DeMartino; his son, Robert DeMartino; stepsons, David Hall, Daniel Hall and Eric Hall; and grandchildren, Joshua Benson, Rose Hall, Dani Hall and Julie Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Belmont (Ethel) DeMartino; and daughter, Julie DeMartino.
A Celebration of Dino’s Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at The Lee Chapel Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A brief Service will begin at 1:00PM with Military Honors at 1:30PM followed by the Memorial Luncheon. Share memories with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
