Benjamin Paul Russell Herman's Obituary
Benjamin Paul Russell Herman, age 22, passed away unexpectedly at his home in North Muskegon on Monday, May 13, 2024. Ben was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 10, 2001 and was a member of Calvary Church. He graduated from Wesley School and was currently a student at the MAISD Transition Campus. Ben’s lead caregiver was his loving sister, Rebecca, but he also had a large community of support and love that surrounded him. He loved to laugh, dance, and his smile could light up the room. Ben enjoyed music, especially heavy metal, thanks to his sisters, and Sesame Street shows, Barney and The Wiggles. He will be greatly missed by his loving mom, Ruth Strom-Herman; sisters, Victoria (Raymond) Zellar and Rebecca Herman; grandma, Marcia Herman; and many loving family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Virginia Strom and Paul Herman. A MEMORIAL OPEN HOUSE will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Calvary Church (213 W. Oak St., Fruitport, MI 49415) with A CELEBRATION OF BEN’S LIFE held immediately following at 5:00 PM with Pastor Keith Sandison officiating.
