Chris, so sorry to learn of Ben's death. Words can not take away the pain or sorrow. Know you are in my prayers and that Ben will live on in your heart and the memories you made with him as a family. Take care. Judy Stark
Harry and I cannot imagine the sorrow felt by Ben's family and close friends. I will remember how Ben's heart seemed to shine through his bright eyes, warm smile and fantastic hugs.
With heartfelt love and sympathy,
Bunny Bookwalter
Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for you. No parent should ever have to lose a child. Our loving Creator knows how hard this is on you. We are told at In the book of Ezekiel “‘for I do not take any delight in the death of someone dying, is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord .” As you can see, He does not like death anymore than we do. It is not his will for us to die which is why He has given us the hope of everlasting life! (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Rev. 21:3, 4). As the God and Father of tender mercies, He wants you to find comfort in Him through prayer (2Cor 1:3).
Our memories of Ben are of a friendly, smiling young man who was polite, courteous and helpful when he was visiting with us at our home. Together he and our son James worked on some ladnscaping jobs around our house, doing a good job together, having some fun and making a few extra dollars.
The good work that Ben and James did was seen by our neighbor Mrs Kehoe, who recently became a widow. She asked if they might do some yard-work for her, cutting back overgrown shrubs and they did help her by doing the work. She later told us what a great job they did. When we recently told her about Ben's passing, her eyes welled up with tears. She was very fond of both boys.
All of our family and friends quickly grew to like Ben and looked forward to his visits and his friendly conversations.
We offer our most sincere condolences to each family member.
We ask that our Father in heaven bring the comfort and peace of His Holy Spirit to all of the family.
God bless you.
