Bentley Jay Heykoop's Obituary
Baby Boy Bentley Jay Heykoop, 3 months, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in Grand Rapids. He was born on February 28, 2013 to Kristina Kaye McEachen and Daniel Jay Heykoop. Due to his medical condition, Bentley never made it home from the hospital, but this didn’t stop him from lighting up his family’s life. His parents will always cherish the three months they had singing and reading to him, changing him, and lying beside him. And they will always be grateful for the care he was given, especially from his favorite nurse, Emily. He is survived by his parents, Kristina Kaye McEachen and Daniel Jay Heykoop; his brother, Daniel James Heykoop; his grandparents, Barbara Heykoop and Bonita and James McEachen; his great-grandma, Jean Anderson; his aunts/uncle, Melissa McEachen, Robert and Katie McEachen; cousins, Tiffany McEachen, Evelyn McEachen, Lydia McEachen, Grant McEachen, Norah McEachen, Chastity Ivy, CeCe Ivy and Nicole Ivy; many great aunts, uncles, and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his great grandma’s, Millicent Warren and Marjorie Heykoop. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be from 10-11:00 AM Friday. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. You may sign his online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com
