Bernadene Evelyn Pierson's Obituary
Bernadene Evelyn Pierson, age 83, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at home. She was born February 2, 1938, in Grand Haven, to Bernard and Verna May (Pedelty) Thompson.
Bernadene cherished her time spent with family. Family was everything to her.
She is lovingly remembered by three daughters: Brenda (Tim) Huebner, Mary Rydel and Shelley (John) Erdman; two sons, Dennis (Stacy) Pierson and Henry VanDyke; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Capitano; three brothers: George (Laura) Thompson, Charlie (Barb) Thompson and Phillip Thompson; daughter-in-law, Patsy Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas VanDyke.
A celebration of life open house will be held from 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 513 5th Street, Spring Lake, MI 49456 (Shelley’s house).
