Bernadine E. Klein's Obituary
Bernadine E. Klein, age 86 of Ravenna died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Poppen Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family.
Bernadine was born on February 18, 1928 in Petoskey, Michigan to the late Michael J. and Susan (Goldsmith) Fate. She married Frederick C. Klein on July 12, 1947 in Marne, MI. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2000.
Bernadine is survived by: 2 Sons: Richard (Patty) Klein of Sparta and Jerry (Shelly Sandison) Klein of Ravenna. 4 Daughters: Linda (Art) Gould of Sand Lake, Barbara (Bruce) Rizzon of Rockford, Anna Klein of Arlington, TX and Rosemary (Rick) Beebe of Ravenna. 15 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Beatrice Gromek of Chicago and Caroline Sellers of Lake City. Sister In-Law: Freda Vanderlaan of Casnovia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, Daughter Patricia Johnson, Son Joseph Klein and Brothers: Leander and Robert Fate, Sisters: Alice Kalchik, Irene VanGorder and Pauline Talton.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 12:00pm at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Ravenna. Burial will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Thursday, September 25, 2014 to greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. Rosary at 8:00pm.
