Mr. Bernard Lee Betts' Obituary
Mr. Bernard Lee Betts, 48, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Atlanta, GA. Born July 14, 1966 in Muskegon to Arthur and Joann (Agnew) Betts, he was a graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School, and was currently the CEO of Blue Light Luxury Transportation Service in Atlanta. His SURVIVORS include his mother, Joann; his fiancé, Carolyn West, and her children Cherie, Jeffrey and Cory; brother, Rashon “Ray” Betts; sisters Veronica (Melvin) Williams and Delnettia Betts; and nieces and nephews: Demetrius, Jakaree’, Desiree’, Desmond and Jala Betts. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Betts; maternal grandparents Marvin and Flossie Agnew; paternal grandparents John and Clara Betts; and a niece, Destiny Betts. VISITATION for Bernard will be 11-12 Noon Saturday, December 27, 2014, followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 12:00 Noon at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, phone 231-798-1100. His uncle, Pastor Arthur Agnew, Jr. will officiate, and interment will be in Mona View Cemetery.
