Bernie worked for years at American Coil Spring from graduation until they computerized the payroll department. From there he went to Mercy Hospital until retirement. He was a member of Lakeside Eagles and was a bartender there. Also, during these years, he also owned Venture Inn and made many friends.
We lost track of each other after our mother died, but he was always in my heart as a brother should be and I thought of him often. Matter of fact, just three days ago, I wondered if he was still alive or if the kids would call me. As I suspected, no they did not. One of my friends did.
Rest in peace, brother Bernie,
Your sister,Bev and brother-in-law Don Goosen
