Bernard G. Heethuis' Obituary
Mr. Bernard G. Heethuis, age 92, of Spring Lake, passed away Sunday evening, October 19, 2014, at his home. He was the former proprietor of Heethuis Hardware in Muskegon; and served on the Muskegon City Commission for many years as vice-mayor and commissioner. He was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the Pacific Theater. He is survived by his wife, Anna; 4 children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held. For a more lasting memorial, you are asked to consider the American Cancer Society Juvenile Diabetes, or the Chiari Foundation.
