Bernard P. "Bud" Paseka II's Obituary
Bernard Phillip “Bud” Paseka II, age 54, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 following a short illness. He was born November 14, 1963 in Muskegon to Bernard P. and Patricia (Hughes) Paseka, Sr. Bud worked many years along side his father at Bernie’s Transmission. He was an automotive Metal Head, an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved spending time with his family. SURVIVORS include his fiancée, Barb Maxfield; 2 children: Bernard Phillip “Chance” Paseka III, Patricia Connie Paseka; step-children: Tansa (Rye) Maxfield-Alexander, Frisco (Jessica) Conaway, Bryce (Cathy) Conaway, Babette (Levi) Kennealy; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Bruce Swirsky, Mark (Traci) Paseka; 3 sisters: Lorraine (Dennis) Burns, Lisa (Steve) Paseka, Lynn (Mark) Johnson; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; 2 special friends: George Bement and Rob Wadland. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Trevor Pierce; and a great-niece, Elaina Jones. A Celebration of Bud’s Life will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
