Bernice Ann Falkowski's Obituary
Mrs. Bernice Ann Falkowski, age 87, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Poppen Residence. She was born in Muskegon on November 30, 1923 to Stanley and Teofilia (Wiliczka) Belfast. On March 21, 1947, she married Stanley Michael Falkowski in Detroit, MI. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2005. Bernice loved nature, and often took long walks, bicycle rides, or just tended to her garden. She was a warm and caring woman, who was loved by all, especially by her family, which includes: 2 daughters, Cheryl (Raymond) Fink of Marne, MI and Carol Cameron of Stafford, England; 1 brother, John (Joanne) Belfast of Holton, MI; beloved niece & nephew, Mary (Joe) Ritter) and Bill (Dori) Rushcamp; her special friends, William Marrah of Flint, MI and Dorothy Loewenstein of Lansing, MI; also many other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Edward and 4 sisters, Violet, Helen, Sophie and Virginia. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation. Memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
