Mrs. Bertha Loretta Creason's Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Loretta Creason, age 79, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 in Muskegon. She was born in Fife Lake, MI on May 12, 1932 to Frederick and Kate (Olmstead) Helsel. Mrs. Creason was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and was active in DeColores. She enjoyed quilting, collecting dolls and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Bertha married Kenneth E. Creason on August 25, 1951 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Thomas) Riley; her son, Jerald (Deloros) Creason; her grandchildren, Joshua (Krystal) Schneider, Devon (Caitlin) Schneider, Jeremy (Diana) Creason, Dannielle O’Brien, Jenifer Bodnar, Rhyannon (Larry) Sanders, Jessica (Roger) Creason, and Brent Schrader; many great-grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, Robert (Lucille) Creason. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, McKenna Kay; 4 sisters, Alice Doherty, Violet Blaisdell, Effie Davis, Luwana Ingersoll; and 11 brothers, Fred Helsel, Arthur Helsel, Frank Helsel, Ivan Gowen, Edwin Gowen, Elton Weller, James Gowen, William Helsel, Ray Helsel, Francis Helsel, and Jack Helsel. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St.
