Bertha E. Robbins' Obituary
Mrs. Bertha E. Robbins, age 93, passed away early Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born on July 15, 1917 in Muskegon to Albert and Edna Barringer, and resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, singing and playing the organ, and was very creative in different sewing projects for her family. She married Donald Robbins in 1933, and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2000. SURVIVORS include 6 sons, Don A. Robbins of Muskegon, Larry Robbins of Muskegon, David (Jackie) Robbins of Washington, Patrick (Bonnie) Robbins of Alden, MI, Douglas (Dorothy) Robbins of Florida, and Thomas Robbins of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Bertha was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Robbins; daughter-in-law, Martha Robbins; and 3 siblings, Jacob, Albert, and Marie. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1PM Thursday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel (2188 Remembrance Drive Muskegon, MI 49442).
