Bessie Bonthuis' Obituary
Bessie (Miller) Bonthuis age 92, of Ravenna, was called to Our Lord and Savior Thursday June 16th, 2022 at home with family by her side. She was loved by all and known as Grandma Moo Moo to many. She opened her arms and home to anyone that wanted to visit and her days were spent taking care of others. Grandma Moo Moo was known for her cinnamon rolls, care free attitude, love for her family, hummingbirds, angels, puzzles, western movies, and cards. The hummingbird taught her valuable lessons to sip the sweet memories, let your true colors glow, to just wing it, and to keep your visits short and sweet. Whenever you see a hummingbird think of Grandma Moo Moo.
Bessie is survived by her 5 children John Bonthuis and Lori Dulyea, Jim Bonthuis, Bryan and Sandy (Bonthuis) Patterson, Gary and Sharon (Bonthuis) Jerue, Dave Bonthuis and Jennifer Kaiser. Her 18 grandchildren Allen and Jill Bonthuis, Joe and Jamie Bonthuis, Cory and Elizabeth Ford, Josh and Jamie McNees, Amy Reeder, Chad Patterson, Evan and Alyssa Patterson, Christopher and Lauren Bauer, Brandon Jerue, Jessica Jerue, Travis and Sydney Jerue, Josh and Meghan Haverkamp, Chelsey Bonthuis, Nathan Bonthuis, Nicole Zatalokin, Keith (Sara) Zatalokin, Amanda Zatalokin, Catherine Ortquist. Her 34 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Bessie was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Bonthuis, son Jerry Bonthuis, and numerous family members.
