Beth Chandonnet's Obituary
Beth Chandonnet was welcomed into the Father’s House with the angels celebrating on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was born March 25, 1948 in Hart, MI to Frank H. and Loretta M. (Ziegler) Neumann. On September 18, 1970, she married LeRoy A. Chandonnet in Hart. To LeRoy and those close to her, she was fondly known as Bethie. Beth worked many years for Sealed Power Corp and retired in 2006 from Neway Anchorlock/SAF-Holland after 14 years. Beth was a woman of faith. She was an avid MSU fan, Detroit Lions and Pistons fan, and loved watching all sports. She was the greatest “Mimi” to her grandkids. She was an amazing cook, and made the best pies and pancakes. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail is one of the ways Beth showed the depth of her love to friends and family. She was even known to drink a beer or two. Beth was also an animal lover and she enjoyed listening to music. She was very active with the Knights of Columbus Council #706. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Chandonnet; her daughter, Darcy Chandonnet; her granddaughters, Francesca and Vivienne Varricchio; one sister, Lori Neumann; nieces and nephews, Chuck (Tracy) Chandonnet and their son, Chase, Suzanne (David) Reinink and their daughters, Alexandria (Du), Amanda (Curt), and Jaclyn (Austin), Lawrence (Caresse) Chandonnet and their children, Austin, Briana and Cassaundra. She was preceded in death by one son, Brent Chandonnet; her parents; and two brothers, Patrick and Steve Neumann. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 30, 2023 with a Memorial at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
