Beth M. Wood's Obituary
Beth Wood, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on May 8th 2022. She was born April 22, 1979 to Robert and Dorothy (Darling) Wood in Patterson, New Jersey. To know Beth is to have laughed with or to have shared a kind word, to be around her was to be drawn to her infectious and ebullient personality. Beth was a gifted artist and a natural writer. She had a natural gift with words, from poetry to stories reading her words was like reading magic. Beth enjoyed spending her time camping, on the water, or anything else that allowed her to be outdoors. Beth touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time; she was able to accomplish much before her untimely passing. Her work in suicide awareness was more than just a career, it was her passion in life, and she made such a difference helping those with her much needed love. Beth was an advocate for mental health and had a natural ability to meet so many where there were. Beth was a hard worker, resilient figure in the face of adversity and person who provided exemplary effort. Beth had an unassuming and disarming smile and energy that could put anyone at ease. Her sense of humor was second to none and she was as compassionate as she was funny. She represented the good that we all need every day in our lives. She was a beautiful resilient soul who never gave up and continued to make a difference in so many lives.
