Bette Jane Thompson's Obituary
Mrs. Bette Jane Thompson, age 88, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born in Sedalia, Missouri on February 20, 1928 to George and Gladys (Rowlette) Dawson and moved to the Muskegon area as a child. Bette enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, Morris, and watching her grandkids activities. Bette was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. On January 22, 1949, Bette married Morris R. Thompson and he survives her along with four children, Daniel (Debra) Thompson, Morris “Rick” Thompson, Thomas (Pam) Thompson and Lisa (Scott) Sabin; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd.) with Rev. Paul C. Appold officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
