Betty Jane Bisard's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Bisard, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Fremont, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 19, 1931 to Louis and Hazel (Bromley) LaVasseur. Betty worked for Gerber Products for 13 years prior to her retirement in 1988. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #3195. On November 22, 1947, Betty married Elmer M. Bisard and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1997. She is survived by her children, Louis (Janet) Bisard, Rick (Alice) Bisard, Terri (Shane) Cole, and Pat Bisard; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue Johnivan. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
