Mrs. Betty Jane Carlson's Obituary
Betty Jane Carlson, age 84, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. Betty was born April 28, 1933 to Garald and Augusta (Gee) McCauley in Muskegon and it was here that she met the love of her life, Gerald Carlson. Betty and Gerald spent 66 years together in marriage and were blessed with 3 children. She was a longtime member of the Vikings. Betty enjoyed reading, playing cards, golfing, and bowling, but most of all, she loved spending winters in Florida with Gerald. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; their children; Douglas (Vicki) Carlson, Dianne (Gary) Nuismer, and Dana (Nancy) Carlson; her brother; Garald (Mary Ann) McCauley; 6 grandchildren; and 3 ½ great-grandchildren. In accordance with Betty’s wishes, there will be no service at this time. Memorial Contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
