Mrs. Betty L. Cochran's Obituary
Mrs. Betty L. Cochran, age 71, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at her home. She was born in Frankfurt, MI on October 4, 1940 to Floyd and Rosemary (Smith) Crawford. Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fremont Chapter and was a member of their Relief Society. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. On June 12, 1983, Betty married Robert L. Cochran and he preceded her in death on December 20, 2007. She is survived by 3 daughters, Nancy Wingo, Mary Joslin, and Janet (Paul) Shaffer; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Rennie (Nola) Crawford; and 3 sisters, Marge (Dennis) Hubert, Doris Lawerance, and Judy Crawford. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 1 son, Everett “Jake” Wingo; 1 granddaughter, Amanda Wingo; 2 great-grandsons, Isaiah Hill and Skyler Hill; her parents; and 2 sisters, Betsy Lawerance and Gloria Pretty. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (24 E. Sheridan St., Fremont, MI 49412).
