Betty Jean Collison's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jean Collison, age 90, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on December 24, 1927 to Lemuel and Jean (Bos) Harris. Betty married William E. Collison on April 9, 1949. Together, they enjoyed traveling, antique glass collecting, square dancing, and spending time with family. Betty is survived by her loving husband of nearly 69 years along with three children, Judith Ann (Mike) Ross, Timothy J. (Gloria) Collison, Thomas A. (Debi) Collison; five grandchildren, Lisa (Dave) Feldmeier, Marcy (Josh Griffith) Ross, Michael Scott (Sarah) Collison, Heather (Steve) Fletcher, Jamie (Shane) Campbell and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, 49444, 231-798-1100 with Rev. Matt Bistayi officiating. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE OPEN HOUSE will immediately follow her service until 3:00 PM. MEMORIALS in Betty’s name may be directed to Grand Haven Church of the Dunes or a charity of your choice.
