Betty M. Gutoski's Obituary
Betty Mae Gutoski, age 97, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Spring Lake, MI. Betty was born on August 29, 1926, to Arthur and Catherine (McKenzie) Yordy in Allen County, Indiana, and attended North Muskegon High School. On September 26, 1945, she married Raymond Gutoski, and the two of them enjoyed 52 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death in 1998. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and baking. She was an active volunteer at Oakridge Public Schools and also volunteered at the polls in Egelston Township. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her son, Martin (Debra) Gutoski; grandson, EL D. (Marie) Gutoski; two great-grandchildren: Dorian and Noah Gutoski; and three brothers: Doug Yordy, Dudley Yordy, and Don Yordy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Catherine Yordy; husband, Raymond Gutoski; son, Larry (Eunice) Gutoski; and three brothers: Bob Yordy, Gene Yordy, and Paul Yordy. Per Betty’s wishes, no public services are taking place at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Pound Buddies.
