Betty Martha Jensen's Obituary
Mrs. Betty (Elizabeth) Martha Jensen, 88, passed away Tuesday morning, August 28, 2012. Born September 3, 1923 in Carleton, Michigan to Foster and Pearl (Beatty) Brown, she married Max D. Jensen in 1945 in Hesperia. They lived in Hesperia until moving to Muskegon in the early 1960’s. Betty enjoyed baking and spending time outdoors gardening and working in the yard and visiting with her grandson and great-grandchildren. HER SURVIVORS include two brothers Foster (Violet) Brown of Holton and Robert Brown of Hesperia, a grandson Jason (Tammy) Jensen of Vicksburg; great-grandchildren Conner and Kate; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Brown of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband Max, a son Joe (Carol), and brothers Hugh and Austin. Betty will also be remembered by her loving nieces, Emogene and Lois, great-niece Stephanie, and special friend Theresa for all the fun dinner and movie times that were shared by all. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Mrs. Jensen will begin 3:30 P.M. Friday, August 31, 2012 at
The Sytsema Chapel,737 Apple Avenue,231-726-5210 with Pastor John Brown officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the Service, 2:30-3:30 P.M. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Fremont.
