Betty Louise Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Louise (Ring) Johnson, age 84, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her home. She was born July 24, 1929 in Sharon, TN to Charlie and Vera (Robertson) Ring and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. Betty worked as a waitress for Lakos for 25 years and later at Doo Drop Inn for 7 years. She retired in 1991. She was a member of Oak-Crest Church of God. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Beverly “Starr” (David) Emery of North Muskegon; Carla Suzanne (Harold, Jr.) LeMieux of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Courtney (Tom) Skinner; and 1 brother, Billy (Mary) Ring of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Dorothy Ward and Joyce Luckett, and 1 brother, Charles Ring. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Oak-Crest Church of God (1540 Leonard) with Bishop Robert D. Rogers officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, 11am-12pm Thursday. INTERMENT will take place at Restlawn Cemetery.
