Betty Jo Lloyd's Obituary
Betty Jo Lloyd, age 87, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her home in Muskegon. She was born December 25, 1931 in Big Rapids, MI to Frank E. and Mae D. (Holtslander) Jenkins and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On September 10, 1949, she married Paul Wayne Lloyd, Jr. in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1998. Betty worked 10 years as a manager of the toy and ladies’ departments for Spartan Stores. Survivors include 5 children, Judy Rogers, Bruce (Tammy) Lloyd, Steven (Jackie Coppelmen) Lloyd, Terry (Val McDonnell) Lloyd, Randy (Allen) Stille; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 daughters, Paulette Luci and Eleanor Lloyd; grandson, Christopher Lloyd; granddaughter, Sara Lloyd; her parents; 1 sister, Maxine Jenkins; and 2 brothers, Chummy Jenkins and Larry Jenkins. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Wednesday.
