Betty Lou Magnuson's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Lou Magnuson, age 95, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 25, 1925 to William and Bernice (Reese) Jordan in Gladstone, MI. Betty moved to Muskegon where she met Russell Magnuson and the two were wed on September 14, 1946 in Manistique, MI. Betty enjoyed bowling, cross-country and downhill skiing, reading, and cross-word puzzles. She loved her beer and being a hell-raiser. Betty is survived by her sons, Larry (Janice) Magnuson, Gary (Diane) Magnuson, and Robert (Kathi) Magnuson; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Darlene Turpin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; infant daughter, Nancy Magnuson; and siblings, Peter Jordan, William Jordan, John ‘Jack’ Jordan, Fredricka ‘Fritzi’ Dyer and Phyllis Leonard.
