Betty M. Slack's Obituary
Betty M. Slack, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. She was born on March 30, 1928 to John and Elizabeth (Curtis) Eddinger in Niles, MI. She worked as a book assembler for many years at Simplicity Pattern. In 2000, she married Irwin Slack and together they cherished 17 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2017. Betty enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles. Above all things, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Heather. She is survived by the Streit family, whom all held a special place in Betty’s heart: Heather (Tim) Streit, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters, Freida, Lola, Alberta and Mary. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E.
