Betty Jane Smith's Obituary
Betty Jane Smith, age 89, passed away Tuesday morning, March 23, 2021 in Muskegon Michigan. She went peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born August 12, 1931 to Carl and Elsie (Klingler) Smith in Ada, Ohio, and lived in Tennessee and Ohio before coming to Muskegon. Survivors include her granddaughters Shannon Combs and Melody Sherwood, her grandson Todd Steinke, her brother Richard Smith, multiple great and great great grandchildren and her daughter Teresa Mcguire. Betty was a beautiful soul who dedicated her life to her family, she was selfless, loving and strong in her faith. She loved grilled sandwiches and hot chocolate and always had four of her great grandchildren and their loved ones nearby to make them for her. Special thanks to Donald Ward for taking such amazing care of her, for always pulling a giggle from her and for getting her to dance.
