Betty Sprague's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Sprague, age 95, of Muskegon passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at home. She was born September 13, 1929, in Muskegon to Leroy “Cecil” and Laura (Smith) Browers. On April 3, 1948, she married James Sprague and he preceded her in death on December 7, 1993.
Betty enjoyed crochet blankets, playing bingo, baking, watching wrestling, babysitting her grandchildren and loving on her cats.
She is survived by four children: James, Kenneth, Linda, and Larry; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Cindy and Beverly; brothers, Edwin and Clifford. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack, Leroy, Joyce, Mary and Jerry David.
A visitation will be held 1-3 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. Interment will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
