Betty Louise Trap's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Louise Trap, age 95, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on March 18, 1921 to Lee and Lea (Prothero) Wright. Betty had worked at American Coil Spring for 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed volunteering in the church office, as a Red Cross driver, and at the Senior Center in Florida. Betty enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She married Gerrit “Bob” Trap in August, 1965 and he preceded her in death in September, 1996. She is survived by her son, Ted (Lorraine) Hall; daughter-in-law, Audrey Hall; six grandchildren, Christopher, Donna, Danielle, Candy, John and Dawn; 14 great-grandchildren, Jessica, Devin, Julien, Destinee, Tyler, Victoria, Patricia, Anthony, Tanner, Sheana, Cody, Renee, Megan and Jake; five great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Bob, Betty was preceded in death by one son, Donald Hall; one grandson, Kelly Hall; her parents; two brothers and two sisters. SERVICES will be 3:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Jim Rausch officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to American Cancer Society.
