Betty E. Ulfsax's Obituary
Mrs. Betty E. Ulfsax, age 77, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born on May 13, 1935 in Muskegon to Emerald and Augusta (Daszco) Marks, and resided in the area her entire life. On October 25, 1958, she married Bruce Ulfsax and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2008. Betty worked at Continental Motors, and then later work at Mona Shores Middle School in the kitchen. She was a long time member of T.O.P.S. She and Bruce enjoyed spending time together at the Vikings Linne Lodge where they had many good times. They enjoyed 20 years of retirement together in Lakeland, FL where they met lifelong friends. Each spring included days at Joker Marchant Stadium watching the Detroit Tigers. Betty was an avid shopper and should’ve opened “Betty’s Boutique” with her love of flip flops, bracelets, and purses. She was known as the “Queen Betty” to her family, loved to laugh, be out in the sun, and share a beer with family and friends. But most importantly she was Grandma Betty, a loving and nurturing Mom, a great sister and sister-in-law, aunt, and wonderful friend. She will be missed by her 3 children, Michael (Jody) Ulfsax of Norton Shores, Eric (Kary) Ulfsax of Pinehurst, NC, Kristi (David) Eigenauer of Norton Shores; 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Adam Ulfsax, Amanda and Karly Ulfsax, and Chance and Camden Eigenauer; sister, Nancy (Mike) Cuddohy of Norton Shores; sister-in-law, Barbara Marks of Norton Shores; and aunt, Lee Heinbaugh also of Norton Shores.
