Betty L. Zuidema's Obituary
Mrs. Betty L. Zuidema, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was born May 14, 1930 to Jacob and Nellie Scott in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Betty was a member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church. She married Herman E. Zuidema on January 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2016. Survivors include 3 children: Sharon Murphy, Steve (Pam) Zuidema, Mark (Julie) Zuidema; 3 grandchildren: Kyle Murphy, Allyson and Jack Zuidema; 2 brothers: twin brother Harry (Eula) Scott, Russ (Marva) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her sister Ruth Rosenberg, brothers John and Arthur Scott. There will be private family graveside service at Norton Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Zuidema may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
