Betty J. Ellison's Obituary
Mrs. Betty J. Ellison, age 78, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, December 2, 2004. She was born in Wisconsin on January 27, 1926 to Albert & Magdalene Lee, and had resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. Mrs. Ellison had worked at Amstore for many years, and was a member of McGraft Congregational Church. On August 31, 1946, she married Clayton Ellison, who preceded her in death on November 28, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Lee Ellison in 1969. She is loved, and will be missed by daughter, Connie (Jim) Carty of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Mike (Donna) Flanery, Robin (Dan) Robinson, Lorie (Jeff) Holt, Paul (Becky) German, Brian German; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters and friends. SERVICES will be 3 PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565. VISITATION with the family will be 4-6 PM Sunday, and 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM Monday. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial Contribution to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
