Betty J. Hall's Obituary
Mrs. Betty J. Hall, age 85, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Poppen Residence. She was born January 3, 1925 in Grand Rapids, MI to George and Hattie (DeCheney) Schoenmaker, and resided in the area most of her life. Mrs. Hall worked for over 15 years at S.D.Warren before retiring in 1970, and she attended St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. On September 26, 1942 she married Arthur J. Hall, and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1996. SURIVIVORS include, Patricia (Frank) Schomogyi of Roosevelt Park and James (Pamela) Hall of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Phyllis (Ronald) Hartman of Muskegon and Shirley (Dennis) Lohman of Whitehall; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hall was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Arthur Hall, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Patricia Hall; 1 sister and 3 brothers. SERVICES will be 11 AM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Fr. Anton Tran officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday evening. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
