Betty Jane Hopkins' Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Hopkins, age 83, passed away Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter Jackie following a long illness. Betty was born in Muskegon on November 22, 1926 the eldest of seven children to Barney and Eva (Suida) Kuziak. She was employed at Sealed Power Corp for 30 plus years, retiring in 1986. Betty is survived by: daughter, Jacqueline (Evaleen Camarata) Hopkins of Kentwood; two sons, William L. (Paula) Hopkins on N. Muskegon and James R. (Sue) Hopkins of Muskegon; a brother, Jerry (Shirley) Kuziak of Newaygo; sister, Lois Wiersma of Norton Shores; five Grandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer, Chris, Tony and Angela; five great-grandchildren, Noah, Clare, Gage, Gracie and Avani. Betty was preceded in death by her significant other of more than 30 years, Paul Skok, Jr. in 2004. In accordance to her wishes, there will be no service or visitation. She will be cremated and her ashes interred next to Paul in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
