Betty L. "Betty Boop" Clark's Obituary
Mrs. Betty L. “Betty Boop” Clark, age 74, died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at her home. She was born on February 18, 1929 in Mancelona, MI to Duddley and Anna (Profitt) Smith, and had resided in the Muskegon area throughout her life. Mrs. Clark had worked at S. D. Warren as an Inspector for 33 years. She was an active member in Lakeside United Methodist Church, the Lakeside Eagles, the Moose Lodge, and a retirement club (PRO). On November 22, 1947, she married William Clark in Muskegon. They have 3 children, Pam (Jim) Hall of Kalamazoo, Mark (Teri) Clark of Hastings, and Penny (Tom) Bell of Spring Lake; 4 grandchildren, Jeannine Hall, Brian Hall, Heather Posvistak, and Kevin Posvistak; 1 great grandchild Griffin Posvistak; 2 sisters, Ruth Beyer and Margaret Mortenson. Mrs. Clark was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Ardis Hoffman and Norma Langoni. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1 PM Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565 with Rev. David Selleck officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8 PM Tuesday. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana and Lakeside United Methodist Church will be appreciated.
