Beverley K. Bomers' Obituary
Mrs. Beverley Lewis Saur Gowell Bomers, age 86, passed away Sunday evening, October 4, 2015. Born in Muskegon on November 26, 1928 to Donald and Lila (Robinson) Lewis, Beverley made West Michigan her home. She worked for the former Dana Printing Company as a bookkeeper and then joined Bomers Carpet Cleaning, which was owned by her husband, Mart Bomers. Beverley was an avid reader, enjoyed planting flowers, playing Bingo and Bridge, doing crossword puzzles, and square dancing, but most of all, liked traveling the country with Mart. Beverley was predeceased by 3 husbands: Bert Saur, Jr., Merlin Gowell, and Martin Bomers; 2 brothers: Donald and DeVere Lewis. She is survived by her 3 children: Dana (Allen) Anderson, Drew (Eileen) Saur, Dale (Blanca) Saur; 2 step-children: Carol (Mike) Allman and Paul Bomers; her grandchildren: Amber (Hvizdos) Ragen, Steven Saur, Drew Saur, Jr., and Christa Saur; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
