Beverley Flickema's Obituary
Miss Beverley E. Flickema, age 79, died Friday morning, February 17, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born January 26, 1927 in Muskegon to Harry & Helen (Bush) Flickema and had been a life resident of the area. Prior to her retirement in 1998, Beverley had been a receptionist for several OB/GYN doctors including Drs. Foote, August, Harryman, Jesson and Mark Karnes. She was an active member of Fellowship Reformed Church, its Women’s Guild and Bible Study. She was also a member of the Muskegon Camera Club and of the South Western Michigan Camera Club. Beverley loved to travel and had traveled around the world and all 50 states. SURVIVORS include her brother, Wayne (Charlotte) Flickema of Battle Creek, MI; niece Laura (Kalon) Hoard of DeLand, FL; nephew, Drew (Christin) Flickema of Milwaukie, OR; and by her dear friends, Jim & Shirley Somers of Muskegon. SERVICES will be 11 AM Monday, February 20, 2006 at Fellowship Reformed Church (4200 E. Apple Avenue) with Pastor Marvin Wassink officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with Bev’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Sunday at
