Beverley Loraine Pleimling's Obituary
Mrs. Beverley Pleimling, age 94, passed away peacefully in Muskegon, Michigan on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born in Muskegon on September 7, 1930 to Frank and Mildred (Sowa) Shanty. Beverley was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, putting together puzzles, and attending Muskegon Fury hockey games. Most importantly, Beverley loved her family and cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On April 13, 1950, Beverley married Raymond Pleimling in Muskegon and he preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by two sons, David (Genine) Pleimling and Brian Pleimling; four grandchildren, Trenton (Alysia) Pleimling, Stephen Pleimling, Bryan Pleimling, and Michelle Pleimling; several great-grandchildren including two close great-grandkids, Carter and Natalie; two sisters, Norma Morgan and Linda Longsdorf; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Shanty and Jan Shanty. In addition to her husband Raymond, Beverley was preceded in death by her son, Mark Pleimling; grandson, Bobby Pleimling; sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Art Davis; two brothers, Dick Shanty and Jeff Shanty; and her dear friend, Royce Putney. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Beverley will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 14, 2025 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441. VISITATION with her family will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at The Walburn Chapel and one hour prior to her service on Friday. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
