Beverly A. Baker's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly Ann Baker, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Muskegon. Born on May 13, 1933 to Randall and Anna (Newald) Seifers in Muskegon, Beverly was a lifelong resident. On July 9, 1955, she married Charles H. Baker and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2010. Beverly enjoyed spending her time reading, knitting, crocheting, and fishing for blue gills and perch in Muskegon Lake. She was a former member of Fifth Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School and volunteered at Family Night and Vacation Bible School. Beverly recently started attending services at Black Creek Bible Church. She also volunteered at Mercy Hospital Gift Shop and International Aid Inc. Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen (Steve) Ames, Timothy (Patrice) Baker and Sandra (Mark) Smith; grandchildren, Eric (Holly) Ames, Tom Smith and Joe Smith; two great-grandchildren; brother, Randall (Sally) Seifers; sisters, Peggy (Coke) Billinghurst and Carol Burgess. Along with her husband, Charles, she was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Baker; grandson, Kyle Baker; and brother-in-law, Howard Burgess. A burial of cremated remains will be held in the spring at Egelston Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Beverly’s name may be directed to Muskegon Rescue Mission or International Aid Inc.
