Beverly E. "Bevy" Bringedahl's Obituary
Beverly Ellen “Bevy” Bringedahl, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 30, 2021. She is reunited with her husband of 47 years, David Bringedahl, who preceded her in death on February 20, 2017. Bev was born on August 4, 1941 to Arnold and Shirley (Douglas) Jensen. Bev graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and went to work for Muskegon Tool Industries for over 30 years and later retired from Churchill Communications. Bev was a very strong willed, independent, hard-working woman. She loved family game night, playing cards, golfing, and crocheting. Pretty much everyone in her family and all of her friends have an afghan made by Bevy. Bev is survived by her children: Tammy (Jeff) Kempker, Tom (Tammy) VanFossen, and Ben (Annette) Bringedahl; 8 grandchildren: Jeff (Kristine) Kempker, Stephanie (Paul) Edwards, Tommy and Shane VanFossen, Nicole (Steve) Lawrence, Tyler, Brandon, and Jordan Bringedahl; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Ron (Kay) Jensen, and many very special In-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Butchy. The family of Bev would like to give a special thanks to Kristine, her hospice nurse, for the special care she gave to mom, and Bev’s friend, Marge, who was always there for her. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 6, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the luncheon. Burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery, Fruitport, MI.
