Mrs. Beverly Loraine Cowles' Obituary
Mrs. Beverly Loraine Cowles, age 94, passed away Sunday morning, April 22, 2018, at her home. Beverly was born February 5, 1924 in Muskegon to Bert and Jessie (Martin) Carr. Beverly married Harold R. Cowles and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2000. She was a wonderful mother who enjoyed day trips, going for rides, and playing cards with her daughter, Carol and friend, Marilyn McKee. Beverly also liked her game shows and loved her children; grand; great-grand and great-great grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her children, Terry (Thelma) Cowles of Muskegon and Carol (Richard) Reynolds of Whitehall; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren, with one on the way; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Don and Kathleen Luipakka. Beverly was also preceded in death by her sons, Mark and Harold; brothers, Robert, Paul, and Martin Carr; and sister, Helen Warren. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 26, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, with Rev. John H. Brown officiating.
