Mari, and all of Bev's family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We were so lucky that she became a vital part of the Ramthun family. Whenever I think of Bev, I see her comfortably in the midst of her new expanded clan with an effortless curiosity about each of us, responding with a wide generous smile and I can still hear her infectious laugh. My mother, Jeanette (Ramthun) Scheffler, passed a year and a half ago and I'm so grateful Bev was with us to celebrate at her memorial. I will be with all of you in spirit on Friday.
Mari I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was the best. She was always fun to work with at the Blueberry Festival and when we would be making blueberry pies for the festival. I will always have fond memories of her and her sense of humor.
Granny was the best person I've ever met in my whole life. She was there when I needed her she always had a kind word to everybody she met. She was a great woman inside and out. The greatest memory I have is when she taught me how to parallel park when I was getting my driver's license simply because to this day I can parallel pork because my granny but I can't back up with a dime. She's a great lady and I love her to death and I'll love her forever even though she's gone God got great one the day she passed and I hope he cherishes her like I did.
I was lucky to work for Bev at the Muskegon License Bureau. Such a nice, kind & caring lady. She was the one who encouraged me to take state tests so I could return to the License Bureau after graduation. So, I have been very thankful for that. Meeting her daughter Mari later was a bonus too, since she is still a friend. We are so sorry for your loss Mari (& family).

Honored to meet Beverly in 2020 when we honored the lighthouse keeper service of her father, George Keller. Beverly was able to provide me with valuable family information and remembrances of her father, uncle, and grandfather as lighthouse keepers as I prepared the elements of the ceremony. Sending love to the extended Keller family.
