Beverly A. Devenport's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly A. Devenport, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born on August 16, 1935 in Muskegon to Harold and Cora (Munson) Young and resided in the area all of her life. Beverly worked in the insurance industry for both Underwriters, and Chaddock, Winter & Alberts Corporation before retiring. On November 15, 1953 she married Charles “Chuck” Devenport, and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage and they both loved spending time with their family. Chuck preceded Beverly in death on September 11, 2014. SURVIVORS include her two daughters, Barb (Dennis) Whiteman and their children, Matt (Shaké Broukian) Whiteman and Andy Whiteman; and daughter, Marsha (Jeff) Gale and their children Jen Gale and Josh Gale; along with great grandson, Charlie Whiteman. Beverly was also preceded in death by her children, Linda and Michael; 2 brothers, Lionel Young and Leroy Young, and sister, Dorothy Southland.
